ADVOCATE – Card #1
You call the number your friend gave you for information about the support group. Someone who said they were an “advocate” answers the phone after many rings and when you ask about the support group, they tell you that you will have to call another advocate because it wasn’t their group. They give you another phone number. When you call that number a lady answers the phone and rudely tells you that the group is too full already and that they are in the middle of a session cycle and you would just be confused anyway. They ask if you want to be added to the waiting list for the next group that will start in about 3 months. You tell her you will just call back later, but you don’t actually plan to do that.
