Claire became worried when she didn’t hear from Brooke – she had sent her messages and tried to call her several times. She called Brooke’s father, who said he had been trying to call her all morning, but she didn’t respond. He was worried when he heard Claire hadn’t been able to reach her all last night or this morning. He asked the police to do a welfare check and told them where the spare key was for the house.

Officers called her father with devastating news.
