Becca Webster ~ COURT – Card #1

You have never been in a courtroom before, so you were nervous when you first walked in. Even though Jennifer had explained the process, you are still nervous about having to speak.

The judge is very professional and asks a lot of questions. He grants your Sexual Assault Protective Order and tells you if Chad does not contest it will be in effect for a full year and might even be able to renew it. You are so relieved!

You and Jennifer meet in the hall after court is finished. She tells you that she has some time to help you with some housing applications if that’s what you want to do or create a new safety plan for when you go back to your mom’s.
